John Morais is not only the groom's father, but a life long best friend. The two of them spent summers in the Delta and winters in Tahoe. JB credits his work ethic and success to his father John, who at 92 is still boating, driving, traveling, working on projects and having a drink or two, or three.

Meet Our Maid of Honor It’s hard to put into words just how much this incredible woman means to me. Not only is she my best friend and my daughter, but she is truly one of the kindest, strongest, and most beautiful souls I know. She’s been my rock, my cheerleader, and my daily dose of laughter—and I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side. Fun fact about Lex she traveled the world in a chicken suit. She is more than family; she’s a light in every room she enters and a blessing in every life she touches. I’m beyond proud to have her standing with me as my Maid of Honor.

Shane is a dear friend of Angel and JB, and someone we’ve shared countless amazing memories with over the years — along with his wonderful wife, Martha. Their friendship means the world to us, and we truly consider them part of our family.

Meet John – Ring Bearer & Life of the Party John is Angel’s godson and the bride’s nephew—and he’s ready to bring the fun! He absolutely loves being part of special events and is taking his ring bearer duties very seriously (with a smile, of course). One thing to know about John: if you tell him your birthday, he’ll never forget it. We’re so excited to have him with us on this special day—he makes everything more memorable and a whole lot more fun!

Meet Gunnar Johnson – Our Ring Bearer We’re so excited to have Gunnar Johnson as our ring bearer! Gunnar lives in Boise and is one of the sweetest, most fun kids we know. His mom has been one of Angel’s close friends for years, so he’s been part of our extended family for a long time. Fun fact: when Gunnar was just a baby, Matthew was one of the very first people to hold him — and to this day, Gunnar still calls him his “big brother.” We’re so happy he’ll be part of this special day with us!

Meet Lucas – Ring Boy & Party Starter Lucas is always the life of the party, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! As a proud member of the ring boy squad, he’s ready to bring the energy—and maybe even a surprise outfit change (don’t be shocked if he shows up in a wedding costume he picked himself!). Lucas brings big laughs, big personality, and even bigger heart to every celebration.

Our Flower Girl Meet Franny, the bride’s youngest niece and the tiniest star of the wedding party! Franny is absolutely thrilled to be the flower girl—and even more excited about wearing her beautiful dress. When she’s not practicing her petal toss, she loves sharing ice cream with her grandpa and going swimming with her Abuelita. With her big smile and even bigger heart, Franny is sure to steal the show (and maybe a few extra desserts)!

Penelope and Parker are two beautiful girls from our Walnut Grove community, and we’re so honored to have them as part of our wedding party. Their family owns Honest Fish Farms — where we get all our fresh eggs — and we’ve come to love not just their amazing produce but their even more amazing people. If you happen to see a few chickens wandering around during the ceremony, don’t be surprised — they might just be trying to catch the vows too!

Meet Irene – Irene isn’t just our amazing wedding coordinator—she’s a longtime friend Angel has known since freshman year of high school! Now a pro in staging and design, she’s bringing her creativity, calm, and incredible eye for detail to our big day. Simply put, we couldn’t make this event happen without her, and we’re so grateful to have her by our side.
